RentToRead is a book rental platform targeting children between the age 0-12  years. Research says that maximum brain development happens between the age of 0-5, and reading plays a critical role in cognitive development, social and emotional growth, and instilling creativity and imagination.

This is where our journey started, with a belief that every child should have the opportunity to learn, grow and blossom through the enchanting world of books. 
 Our mission is to foster a love for reading in small children through an exciting and convenient book rental service. We are proud of our ever-growing collection of books which is carefully curated and age- appropriate covering books across genres such as Picture Books, Board Books, Touch and Feel Books, emotions, Mythology, Adventure, Fairy tales, Classics, Moral stories, Read it Yourself, Knowledge, etc. With flexible rental options, we make it easy for parents to access new stories without the commitment of purchasing expensive subscription plans.

Saumya Mathur, Founder RentToRead

Saumya holds a double Masters in Environment & Development from the University of Edinburgh, UK, and Natural Resources Management from TERI.  She worked for 10 years in the industry in various roles before taking a break to spend quality time with her two daughters. Rent To Read was born out of her passion towards sustainability and also a realization that children who read more are more likely to succeed in life. Her love for books, storytelling and children fuels this platform.
